After Installation #
Once the plugin is active, you’re ready to start creating content. Here’s where to go next:
- Create your first review — Go to Reviews → Add New. See Your First Review for a walkthrough.
- Explore Settings — Go to Creator Suite → Settings to customize colors, configure schema output, and set up affiliate disclosure text.
- Import content with JSON — If you’re generating review content with AI tools, the JSON import feature lets you paste structured data directly into the editor. See Importing Content with JSON.
Upgrading from Free to Pro #
Upgrading preserves all your existing content — reviews, comparisons, roundups, guides, settings, and custom fields are all kept intact.
- Download the Pro zip from your Site Nitro account
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the zip — WordPress will prompt you to replace the existing version
- Activate and enter your license key
No content migration is needed. Pro features become available immediately after license activation.
Downgrading from Pro to Free #
If your Pro license expires and you choose not to renew, you can switch back to the free version at any time.
- Download the free version from WordPress.org or the plugin directory
- Upload it via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and replace the Pro version
All your content is preserved. Reviews, comparisons, roundups, and guides continue to display on your site. Pro-only features (custom review types, advanced SEO fields, additional layouts) will no longer be editable, but any content created with Pro features remains published and visible to visitors.
